Fullmetal Alchemist summary:

The practice of alchemy shattered the physical forms of the Elric siblings. However, their unbreakable bond may hold the key to their restoration. In this realm, those who delve into the study and execution of alchemical transmutation are known as alchemists. These individuals abide by the Law of Equivalent Exchange, which mandates that something of equal value must be sacrificed in order to obtain something else. During an alchemical ceremony gone awry, Edward Elric lost both his arm and his leg, while his younger brother Alphonse was reduced to nothing but a sentient suit of armor. With the aid of automail prosthetics, Edward assumes the mantle of a state alchemist in the pursuit of the only means of reclaiming their physical bodies: the elusive Philosopher’s Stone. Note: Contains 8 bonus chapters.
